Invitations are now circulating for Huawei’s event to welcome the P20 range, which will be held on March 27 in Paris, France. Not known for being subtle, the invitation not only reflects the three circles across the middle – which is strongly suggestive of three rear cameras – but also uses the tagline “See MOOORE With AI”.

Back at the launch of the Huawei P9 (the first to feature dual rear cameras for the company), the hashtag #OO did the rounds beforehand, and it took a while for people to figure out exactly what it meant. This time, though, we know how Huawei thinks, and the meaning is pretty clear. That, and the three cameras have been widely rumoured for a while now.

The move to three cameras has us wondering exactly what Huawei will do with three cameras and sensors that it couldn’t do with two… but honestly, with Huawei’s focus on photography over the past few years (hence P in the series identifiers), there’s little doubt that they’re up to something powerful.

Alongside the event invitations, we’ve also got some leaks of the P20 Lite, courtesy of OnLeaks andΒ TigerMobiles. The renders show off dual cameras at the back β€” arrayed vertically β€” along with dual cameras at the front of the phone. The P20 Lite is rumored to feature a 6.1-inch display.

I don’t know about you, but I think that looks pretty fantastic to me. There’s little doubt in my mind, Huawei’s P20 and Samsung’s Galaxy S9 are the two most exciting things coming up. We’ll get a look at Samsung’s Galaxy S9 at MWC in a couple of weeks, and Huawei’s P20 range a few weeks after that.
