Like Angry Ken…..I HATE IT….was I yelling then. Yes I was. Like Ken, Pedro, Vincent and Albert, I too am losing my shortcuts on reboot. (Thanks Vincent, at least I now know why) The battery life is atrocious. I’m not game to leave home without a backup plan eg booster battery etc.Its ridiculous!!! A phone I once loved is ruined due to a software upgrade.

I absolutely hate this new version 4.2.2 on my Telstra One XL. * Incoming Messages has changed to a list of contacts, not the message that came in. * There is nowhere to turn off ‘Running Services’. * NONE of the instructional ‘You Tube’ videos match my version, so I can’t learn how to use it. * Home pages aren’t 360 degrees any more. They only go 3 pages in each direction like much older versions did. * I have no ‘Menu’ to find anything. * My favourite Ringtone has gone (Old fashion Phone ring). * Lots of my Apps… Read more »

The Good, the Bad & the Ugly!
Good: It’s certainly faster & more responsive.
Bad: Redesigned UI and icons.
Access to drop-down settings (extra step)
App draw scrolling, will have to get used to scrolling down instead of across. Why change it?
Favourite apps option gone.
Redesigned phone app, very confusing.
Ugly: Stock Weather Clock
Image of callers during a call very pixelated.

vincent

updated!

likes: blinkfeed and the new UI
dislikes: they have removed the option to move apps to SD from phone storage and vice versa.- which is causing my apps to storaged in SD storage disappear on my screen after reboot unless i reinstall it again.

Thanks Vincent. At least I know why its happening now

Albert

why i created short cut in home screen will automaticaly deleted after i reboot the hanset??

frank3

same here. it seems to be the same shortcuts every time. have not figured this out yet, but surely teltra and htc should have fixed it by now????????????

I don’t like it. I can’t find how to customise my screen look. My clock and icons were cool hand drawn look. Now there appears to only be one option or the blink thing.

Yvonne Lee

getting my update now via a pre-emptive check (HTC One XL Telstra prepaid)

Yvonne Lee

looks pretty good. have blinkfeed but it isn’t that customisable. If only i could integrate feedly into it!
