LG has commenced sending out Android Nougat to its LG G5 customers, at least in South Korea, becoming the second major OEM to start the upgrade to Android 7.0. While the roll-out is starting in LG’s home country, the rest of the world is set to start seeing the update arrive in the next few weeks.

Nougat will bring a number of new features to LG’s 2016 flagship, including multi-window support, new notifications and some other UI tweaks, but it’s unlikely to be enough to do anything for the phone’s  fairly mediocre sales. It will, however, make owners of the phone (including yours truly) quite a bit happier to have one of the first phones upgraded to Google’s new operating system.

If you’ve got an LG G5, check out their news release, and prepare to receive some Nougat-related goodness in the next few weeks.
