With Android O Developer Preview now rolling out to developers devices, those of us not willing to update to the bleeding edge are also getting an update, at least on the Pixel C and Nexus Player, with reports coming in of Android 7.1.2 rolling out now.

The files for the update to 7.1.2 for the Nexus Player and Pixel C have not yet made it to the Nexus Factory Images page as yet, but there are multiple reports of the update rolling out to devices. The Android 7.1.2 update includes a number of updates including fixes for Bluetooth and the Camera, as well as feature updates that include a new launcher for the Pixel C in the form of the Pixel Launcher (yay, it’s now a ‘real’ Pixel) and for the Nexus 6P, fingerprint gestures. Exactly what’s inside the update for the Nexus Player and Pixel C remains to be seen.

If you have a Nexus Player or Pixel C that’s not on the Beta track, it’s time to start checking for available updates.
