If you’ve somehow missed out on getting an invite for Google’s Inbox for Gmail service, then you have to wait no longer, with Google announcing the service is now open to anyone using Gmail services – including those using a Google Apps account.
The service has been fairly free with invites of late, but there’s now absolutely no reason to require an invite so download the app and check it out. While you’re in there, you can check out the new Trip bundle that Google has added to show off all the information about trips you could need. Another much-needed feature is the ability to specify a signature, though unlike Gmail, its only plain-text signatures for Inbox for now. Still, it’s better than no signature at all.
You can get Inbox by Gmail now from Google Play, or you can access it directly on the web at http://inbox.google.com.
