As products evolve sometimes we need to say goodbye to a friend, and today we say goodbye to the Google Cast app which is making way for Google Home. Those who’ve used the Google Cast app in the past will notice nothing by way of functionality changes, merely a new look and re-branding for now.
It is safe to say though, that the functions will increase and change when the Google Home product becomes available. For those of you too impatient to wait for the update to become available on your device, you can grab it from APK Mirror. Hopefully the re-branding of Google Cast to Google Home is a strong indicator that the availability of Google Home will expand quickly and soon but only time will tell.

Google Home is more stable than Google cast for me.
