Chat groups are great, they can be used for fun, productivity or general communication. Depending on the platform though, they can get out of hand quickly. WABetaInfo has shared some information that will be welcomed by admins of groups that require a bit more control.
The changes (currently under development) allow admins to turn on the requirement for new participants to be approved. This is particularly useful in managing larger, or controlled chat groups where new members are invited regularly.
With the mayhem in the messaging market at the moment, particularly the Google Vs Apple stoush, it’s little wonder the other messaging apps are making a bid for more of the market.
