What’s got over 30 million installs on the Android platform and helps you chat with your friends on all mobile platforms? Whatsapp, that’s what! Its one of the most successful third party messaging apps available and it keeps improving. Recently they’ve added a web client interface, they’ve made calls available to users and added backup features which are being enhanced.
The previous backup and restore options were once off options, but now as outlined in a Blog Post; there is a significant amount of granular control available to users. The choice is there if you wish to have backups or not, how frequently you wish to use them and the choice of backing up videos or not.
It’s great to see services being continually worked on and improved, particularly in the always-connected world we live in

Especially if also on iOS version. I’ve been using an iPhone (i know – poor me) as a temporary phone until i get another android phone to replace it, and it would be great if you could also use drive to transfer all your history from one phone to another!
