The latest Android Wear app update has brought back the watch battery stats that Google removed a while ago.
The battery stats feature in the Android Wear app was borderline useless in its previous incarnation and it’s not clear exactly how useful it is now. Still, the update has brought those battery stats back into the settings menu of the Android Wear app on your phone. To access the graph, simply click the cog, select the Android Wear watch you have connected and you can then select ‘Watch Battery’.
As you can see, the percentages don’t actually add up to 100% so there’s that, but if you like pretty graphs and information then this should fulfil your needs for now. We do hope that the graph and data collection gets some improvements down the track though.
The update is rolling out to users in Google Play now, though of course you can always download the app and sideload it now if you want.
