Google Street View is one of those Google products that sets it apart from any other “map” provider. While often practical it’s also oftentimes whimsical and that’s really why many of us love Google, at times.

The latest fun and whimsical addition to Google Street View is a walking tour of Kakadu National Park. At a massive 20,000 square kilometres in size it’s kind of nice to be able to see it from home.

Today’s launch coincides with the 40th anniversary of Kakadu National Park.

If you want to see one of Australia’s most culturally significant and beautiful landscapes why not pop on over to Google Street View and check it out for yourself.
