At Google I/O last year we saw Google announce celebrity Assistant voices with John Legend rolling out earlier this year. Google are now teasing that another is set to arrive in the next couple of days.
Google has been advertising on various social media platforms announcing that there will be a new voice coming to Google Assistant. Not only will it be new but it will be a voice that apparently we all know hence the question “can you guess who it is?”
At this stage there have been many wild guesses over who it is but it will be released on the 10th October (US time) so we won’t have long to find out.
It is unclear if John Legend’s voice will disappear when the new voice makes an appearance but I hope we get the new voice here in Australia — it’s just a step closer to what we all want — Yoda Assistant.
