Apparently we all love filters, well 300 Million users can’t be wrong can they? Well, today Instagram has announced that they’ve introduced five more to the list of filters available, as well as a new way to manage them.
Adding new filters is a big deal for Instagram, the last new filters they added, named Mayfair and Willow, were added all the way back in 2012. The five new filters, called Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua will ‘soften and subtly shift colors to achieve the look and feel you want for your each photo’.
All your existing filters, as well as these five new ones, will also be displayed slightly differently. Instagram has added a blurred preview pane which will show your photo with the filter applied to give you an idea of what to expect.
Instagram has also added a new filter management system to allow you to sort, prioritise and even hide your favourite or not so loved filters. At the end of the filter tray you’ll find a mange button and from there you can sort them all.
If you’re an Instagram user, you’ll find Android version 6.12.0 available to update in Google Play today.
hope it fixes the bugs that are in the current version…
