Presto Velocity
If you’re on the frequent flyer points bandwagon the chance to earn extra points for using a service or feature you normally use is a bonus. For Velocity Frequent Flyer customers, that now means if you’re using Foxtel’s Presto streaming video you can be earning rewards.

The deal is the first of its kind in Australia, partnering Presto’s on-demand streaming service with Virgin Australia’s frequent flyer program. The offer is pretty good for Velocity rewards members, with a one-month trial on offer, after which your first paid month will net you 600 Velocity points, with 50 points per month following for each month you continue to use and pay for the service.

We are excited to welcome Presto to our growing portfolio of partners which reward our members for their everyday household expenditure. We are committed to giving members alternative ways to earn Points. Coupled with direct earn credit cards, our partnership with BP, and numerous home loan offers, Presto becomes a new and innovative way to increase members’ Points balances to get them on their dream holiday much faster.

Presto operates on a month to month basis with no contracts with either a separate or combined TV and Movies option. You can stream either just movies, or just TV shows for $9.99 for each service per month, or you can get an entertainment bundle with both TV AND Movies for $14.99 per month. There’s a fair bit of content on the service as well, with shows like Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo, Empire, Silicon Valley, The Mindy Project, American Crime and Scandal and a mix of classic and new Movies such as No Country For Old Men and Saturday Night Fever, as well as more recent titles like Straight Outta Compton and Everest.

Presto is one of the first Australian streaming services to offer an Android TV app as well, launching the separate application onto Google Play in December last year. For other users Presto also offers Chromecast support to get those shows to the big screen in your home

Users wanting to check out the offer can head over to the Presto/Velocity offer page on the Presto website.
