With May the 4th (be with you) a memory, it seems Google has snuck a Star Wars themed easter egg into Android Pay for those able to use the payments service.
According to Google, the Android Pay app has seven Star Wars themed animations to light up your transactions every time you Tap & Pay. From Jedi, to Storm Troopers, there’s seven Star Wars themed animations that will show up when you make a transaction, each with a moon, that’s no moon! Deathstar in the background:

If your bank has signed on to allow you to use Android Pay you can check it out now in the app.
I used Android pay for the first time this week. I keep a Sydney Opal travel card in the phone case and I find Android pay only works if I remove this before paying. Which is a shame because it means I still have to get a card out to pay so the whole purpose is defeated.
