Optus’ ‘Yes’ campaign has led them to including a few good deals for customers, bettering their service, coverage and now, options for their international customers. Optus has today advised that they have upgraded their postpaid mobile plans for new customers signing up to the My Plan Plus 24 to include international calls, SMS and MMS.

With around 620,000 Optus postpaid customers already making calls or sending text to other countries, Optus has advised that customers who sign up to My Plan Plus plans will now receive up to 300 minutes of talk time each month, as well as unlimited SMS to any one of 32 countries. Optus has looked at the countries their customers are calling and texting the most and included them in the list :

Austria, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam.

While the text and data will remain for the life of the plan, it’s only being offered to new sign-ups who take advantage of the offer between the 2nd of February and 31st of May 2015, If you’re an existing Optus customer and want to take advantage of the inclusions, you can contact Optus about changing your plan within this window.

Others prefer international calling cards which need to be purchased in advance and may not offer the best rates. We know it’s more convenient to just call when you want from your mobile, regardless of what country you’re calling. Everyone enjoys hearing from their loved ones overseas, so Optus is making it cheaper and easier to call anytime, anywhere.

Yes Optus where is Nepal there are many voices and a huge Nepalese community in Australia requesting for nepals name to be on the list but Optus doesn’t hear these voice or Optus representative not taking the voice to the higher level Optus authority

Thanks! I was able to upgrade to the new $60 plan (signed up 8 months ago) without restarting the contract
