D-Link has been a continual source of connectivity for homes and businesses for many years now. They’re always looking to deliver new options, keeping up with the market rush. The latest addition to D-Link’s connectivity range is the DSL-X1852E, an AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 VDSL2 /ADSL2+ Modem Router with VoIP.

We’ve previously outlined how important the Wi-Fi 6 update is in our connected world.

It’s capable of delivering not just NBN (through the WAN port) but also VDSL and ADSL2+ connectivity and USB 4G fallback to users not yet able to connect to the NBN. As you would expect, it’s armed with WPA3 128-bit encryption across dual-band connections. As a bonus, it’s also armed with dual FXS ports for VoIP account use.

When the release for this device came out, the fact it had DSL2+ and VDSL interested us so we queried D-Link about its inclusion. Graeme Reardon, Managing Director of D-Link gave us this comment:

With Telcos generally sending out the lowest cost devices to connect their customers, whilst simultaneously customers demanding more and more performance across their Home Network, there is still a wide opportunity for xDSL Modem Routers in the Australian market, in particular with the upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 technology. D-Link, as a supplier into the xDSL space for more than 20+ years, still sees solid demand for high-performance networking devices such as the new DSL-X1852E for some time into the future.

In true D-Link value offering style, the DSL-X1852E has high-gain antennas, power amplifiers and beamforming technology all built-in. This means that for houses that may otherwise be on the cusp or require mesh networking, you’ll get a better signal; saving you money.

The DSL-X1852E AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 VDSL2 /ADSL2+ Modem Router with VoIP is available now from www.dlink.com.au (RRP AUD$349.95) and from all authorised D-Link partners and retailers.
